Chalet Bela Vya 1 Ski & Spa is located in the hamlet of Courbaton just below Les Arcs 1600. This striking self-catered chalet offers a peaceful setting with an exceptional mountain panorama the backdrop for your mountain holiday. From this unique setting you can unwind in the extensive outdoor spa area, with swimming pool, sauna and Nordic hot tub, whilst inside simply relax in contemporary comfort.
This semi-detached chalet is arranged over three floors and 200m2 of floor area. There are five bedrooms accommodating 8-12 guests. The chalet design takes inspiration from the pioneering architecture of Les Arcs, offering a calm and soothing ambiance. Lightly coloured wood and natural tones give way to fabulous panoramic views across the Tarentaise valley, which, thanks to the large windows, are also visible from inside.
Entering the chalet on the ground floor you firstly arrive into a ski room / cloakroom where there is plenty of hooks for your mountain clothing. This room flows through to the open plan living spaces with a lounge with fireplace, kitchen with island unit and two separate and different sized dining tables. This space is very convivial and full of lovely designer touches and subtle lighting.
The living room opens out onto a wide terrace that invites you to unwind and refresh in an array of spa facilities. Take a dip in the swimming pool, let the warmth of the barrel sauna ease-tired muscles, before sinking into the fun of the Nordic hot tub. In the warmer spring months, the outdoor dining table invites you to dine al fresco.
The first of the bedrooms are also on the ground floor with a twin and double bedroom and a family room with 2 sets of bunk beds sleeping up to 4 people. These bedrooms share a connecting Jack & Jill shower room as well as a separate toilet. From the bunk room steps lead up to a cosy TV snug area tucked away under the eaves, and which any children in your group will surely love.
The next two bedrooms are on the middle floor of the chalet, and both are double rooms with en-suite shower rooms. The top floor is the preserve of the spacious master bedroom and features a small lounge area, balconies to the front and rear, bathroom with shower and bathtub, and a toilet.
The chalet also has laundry facilities with a washing machine and tumble dryer, and a car parking space along with an electric vehicle charging station.
Les Arcs 1600 is just over 1km away and from there you can quickly access the varied skiing of the extensive Paradiski ski area. The Mont Blanc and Cachette chairlifts swiftly lift you above the resort to the start of a mix of blue and red slopes that start in high and open alpine terrain before descending and turning into beautiful tree line slopes.
Conditions permitting, the blue graded piste, Bois de Saule, descends from Les Arcs 1600 to the hamlet of Courbaton where the chalet is located. When the snow is good, this makes it possible to ski back close to the chalet, as well descending lower into the valley to the hamlet of Les Granges. At Les Granges, the funicular that connects the town of Bourg Saint Maurice in the valley floor to Les Arcs 1600, stops at a mid-station and where you can board and head back up to the main ski area.
For larger groups, it is also possible to rent the adjoining Chalet Bela Vya 2 Ski & Spa which sleeps a further 12 guests. This would offer a great solution for several families or large group of friends looking to holiday together and stay in the same location.
Chalet Bela Vya 1 Ski & Spa is available to rent on a self-catered basis and includes daily cleaning and a daily shuttle service to and from the ski lifts and ski slopes in Les Arcs 1600.
