Lech Luxury Ski Chalets

A traditional village with extensive snow-sure slopes, Lech is the most fashionable ski resort in Austria.

Lech is a wonderfully atmospheric village and provides a wide variety of slopes for skiers and snowboarders of all abilities, but with more focus towards beginner and intermediate skiers than the neighbouring party resort of St Anton. One of the most beautiful ski resorts in the Alps, its traditional chocolate-box village centre exudes quality and old school glamour. For those looking for style, sophistication and unique charm, then Lech am Arlberg with its superb architecture, riverside location and stunning mountain backdrop is without equal.

Lech is definitely for those who enjoy the finer things in life, prefer well groomed, snow-sure cruising ski slopes, and delight in a winter holiday in pampered comfort and style in a traditional Alpine village. There are challenging slopes available and some amazing off-piste, whilst the more challenging slopes of St Anton are now only a ski lift away. If you are someone who wants to enjoy a charming atmosphere, refined après ski and to wander through a beautiful snow covered village, as well as first class skiing, then Lech is a wonderful winter destination.

The linked Lech – Zürs ski area is located in the snowiest part of the Alps. Lech-am-Arlberg is located between the resorts of Warth and Zürs-am-Arlberg – the 1st and 2nd snowiest ski villages in the Alps. The Lech – Zürs ski area also forms a significant part of the Arlberg ski area, which includes St Anton, Stuben and St Christoph, all of which can now be reached by ski lift. The diversity of the skiing, the abundant snowfall and the first class mountain facilities make Lech one of the very finest Alpine ski resorts.

The Ski Arlberg ski pass gives you access to the cable cars in all five Arlberg resorts and the Warth-Schröcken ski resort and is your passport to the legendary 340 kilometres of ski slopes and 180 kilometres of high Alpine deep powder snow runs. The off-piste skiing is extensive and world renowned as one of the best powder snow destinations in the world. Adventure seekers can try skiing the ‘White Ring‘ route, a 22km on-piste circuit of red and blue runs around Lech, Oberlech, Zug and Zürs.

For beginners, this is an excellent choice of ski resort with good nursery slopes in Lech and Oberlech as well as good, easy pistes to progress on. For those who love to rack up the miles on pistes, you will find many immaculately groomed blue and red runs that offer no hidden surprise and will flatter your turns. The lift network is modern and very efficient and there are many heated chairlifts for that added touch of luxury between runs. There are also over 20km of cross-country skiing trails in Lech.

Lech is a resort that is resolutely traditional and proud, the preservation of its exclusive identity have been cultivated over many years, meaning that Lech today remains the resort of choice for European Royalty and global celebrities. A stay in one of our Lech chalets is very much like the resort itself, luxurious and exclusive. After all, holidays are all about treating yourself and in Lech that is very easy to accomplish.
