Bear Lodge, opened for the 2021/22 winter season, is at the heart of a new piste side resort in the centre of Arc 1950. It offers the ultimate in slope side convenience with a ski in ski out location on the Baptiste Giabiconi blue piste and is also opposite the Marmottes & Bois de L’Ours chairlifts. In the morning you can head out directly onto the ski slopes from the concierge managed ski room and rental shop.
In total the lodge can accommodate 60-80 people in thirty bedrooms arranged across the 2nd and 3rd floors. There are three types of bedrooms available, and each comes with plentiful storage space, comfy beds, somewhere to charge your phone and plenty of light to read your favourite holiday book. Choose from twin rooms, family suites with twin beds and a bunk bed den for the kids (half price). Pairs of adjoining rooms are a great choice for mum and dad with older children.
Along with your bedroom there are wonderful communal amenities to enjoy. There is a spacious lounge, bar and dining room for meals and pre-dinner drinks. The extensive spa facilities include an indoor swimming pool complex with sauna, steam room, hot tub, massage rooms, and fitness room. There is also a cinema, children’s playroom, as well as a small conference room for the work conscious.
As a dedicated family property, infants and children are welcome in the property all season long. A private nanny service is available at additional charge to ensure both parents and children alike get the most out of their weeks winter holiday. A short walk across the piste is the charming and traffic free resort of Les Arcs 1950 where you can discover an eclectic mix of forty shops, cafés, bars, and restaurants.
Bear Lodge has partnered with Ski Service in Arcs 1950 to provide the best equipment rental service for its guests. Pre-booked equipment will already be in your ski locker when you arrive, and any problems with fitting can be solved with the Intersport technician who is on hand to assist. At the end of your stay just leave your equipment in the locker.
In addition, the lodge has also collaborated with the ESF in Les Arcs to provide complimentary guiding on the first two mornings of your holiday. Enjoy sociable skiing and boarding with like-minded guests of similar ability, and pre-booking is advised as places are limited.
All in all, Bear Lodge provides the perfect base from which to explore the extensive Les Arcs and Paradiski ski area.
The 30 bedrooms are located on the 2nd and 3rd floors, with access to the piste from both the 3rd and 4th floor. All rooms are en-suite with bath or shower and equipped with WiFi, hairdryer and safe.
Choose from double or twin rooms, interconnecting family rooms, and family rooms with bunks (children in bunks pay half price) many of which have piste side views. Some rooms carry a small supplement up to £50.
