Chalet La Source Arc 1800 combines comfort, privacy, and an exceptional location in the high-altitude ski resort of Les Arcs. Nestled in a peaceful and secluded environment, yet just moments from the ski lifts, this spacious 400m2 alpine retreat accommodates up to 19 guests and is designed for unforgettable winter holidays with family and friends.
At the heart of the chalet is a spacious and welcoming living area designed for spending quality time together. Large sofas, a central fireplace, and an open-plan layout create a warm and sociable atmosphere, perfect for relaxing after a day on the slopes. The dining area is ideal for shared meals, while additional spaces throughout the chalet offer privacy and quiet moments to unwind.
The impressive 100m2 living and dining area enjoys spectacular views and comfortably seats up to 16 guests around a large dining table. For entertainment, the chalet features a fully equipped games room with a large-screen TV, table football, and a range of activities to delight both adults and children, ensuring the fun continue long after the adventures on the ski slopes have finished.
The chalet can accommodate between 10 and 19 guests, making it ideal for large groups, several families, or multi-generational gatherings. The chalet offers four double bedrooms and one twin bedroom, all with en-suite facilities and toilets, as well as two dormitories served by a shared shower room. This flexible layout provides comfort and privacy for a variety of group configurations.
After a day on the mountain, guests can relax in the traditional sauna, which accommodates up to eight people. Modern amenities, including a SONOS audio system and high-speed internet, complement the chalet’s authentic alpine character and ensure every comfort is at hand. As evening falls, gather in the private outdoor seating area to share special moments around the fire beneath a canopy of stars or failing snow.
Set within an unspoilt natural environment, Chalet La Source enjoys breathtaking surroundings, with forests stretching as far as the eye can see and panoramic views across the Tarentaise valley. The car-free setting creates a safe and peaceful atmosphere where children can play freely, while adults can fully disconnect and enjoy the tranquillity of the alpine setting.
The nearest access point into the ski area is the Jardin Alpin chairlift which is a 400m walk away. This lift brings you up onto the main snow front where you can ski down to a choice of lifts including the Transarc 1 gondola and the Charmettoger and Vagere chairlifts.
The nearest ski bus stop is 300m from the chalet and is called the “Chante mouche” on the road called “Route d’Arc 1800″. The ski bus connects you to the resort centre of Les Arc 1800 as well as to the top of the Arc 1600 funicular which connects Les Arcs with the town of Bourg-Saint-Maurice in the valley below.
The main snow front in Arc 1800 is 900m away and this is where the Transarc gondola is also located and which connects you into the highest altitude slopes in the ski area. The ski school meeting points are also located on the snow front.
It is also possible to arrange for daily minibus pick-ups to the ski lifts each morning with an additional charge. The chalet also has a partnership with a ski shop on the snow front in Arc 1800 and which you can walk to in your normal shoes. Once at the shop you can change into your ski boots, grab your skis and head directly out onto the ski slopes.
