Chalet des Cascades could be the ultimate ski in ski out chalet in the Alps. With the best location in Les Arcs, the chalet is actually built into the piste and surrounded by beginner friendly slopes. Winner of the World’s Best New Ski Chalet 2018, for those who being on the ski slopes first, then it will be hard to beat this self-catered chalet.
Inside the interior is spacious, bright and full of cosy corners in which to relax with friends or curled up with a book. The open plan lounge and dining room is centred on the large feature fireplace, whilst the show kitchen allows the cook in your group to prepare delicious meals. The double height ceilings and picture windows frame mountain views, which can be further enjoyed from the terrace.
With a ski in ski out location right on the ski slopes, you will not have to walk anywhere in your ski boots. The Saint Jacques chairlift is just below the chalet so you can ski down to the lift each morning. In the evenings, or for those who want to have a wander or après session in Les Arcs 2000, it’s a 150m walk uphill across the piste, so remember to pack your snow boots.
For in-chalet relaxation, unwind in the indoor swimming pool or sauna, or enjoy a movie in the TV lounge. Floating above the main lounge is a mezzanine chill out area which is linked via a glass walkway to the TV lounge. There are three separate seating areas, so plenty of room for large groups to spread out into.
The chalet sleeps 14 in 7 en-suite bedrooms including a parent suite and master suite. There are a further five rooms with en-suite shower rooms, including one adapted for disabled access. All of the rooms can be arranged with twin or double beds, and the parent suite can accommodate an additional child bed on request to bring the occupancy up to 15.
Chalet des Cascades is available on a self-catered basis, and it is possible to add in a daily bakery delivery or half board options – please enquire for full details, plus latest availability and prices.
