Chalet La Poudreuse is a luxury ski chalet in Courchevel 1550 with a convenient location. The chalet is just 150m from the Grangettes gondola linking you directly to the centre of Courchevel 1850. Arranged across four floors and 220m2 of floor area, the chalet can sleep 8-13 guests across four en-suite bedrooms including a family room with a double bed and five single beds.
The communal living spaces are spread across the first floor and exude a feeling of space thanks to its cathedral ceiling and exceptional views of the valley and mountains. The design subtly blends the use of wood and contemporary furniture in soft tones, creating a warm and homely setting for your ski holiday.
The wood burning fireplace offers a focal point between the lounge and dining areas, whilst the semi-open kitchen located up a half flight of steps and overlooking the living room adds a touch of drama. The kitchen is spacious and the island unit with breakfast bar offers a more relaxed dining space for smaller groups. Outside, the balcony is the perfect spot for pre-dinner drinks.
The bedrooms are split between the ground floor and top floor. On the ground floor are three en-suite double bedrooms including the master which has direct access to the terrace with outdoor hot tub. Up on the top floor is the family bedroom which gives great flexibility for groups with children, and this room can ideally accommodate 2 adults and 5 children.
On level -1 of the chalet, the wellness area invites you to relax and unwind and is equipped with a sauna and a relaxation room. Also on this level is a fully equipped ski room, plus a laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer, and a cloakroom.
The chalet provides the ideal base camp for exploring the ski slopes of Courchevel and the 3 Valleys domain. A 150m walk brings you to the Grangettes gondola and the bottom of the ski slopes in the centre of the resort. On the snow front you will also find the ESF ski school meeting points. The international ski schools that meet at the La Croisette lift hub in Courchevel 1850 can also be easily accessed by using the gondola.
Courchevel 1550 has its own local bars and restaurants, as well as all the shops needed for your self-catering provisions. The Aquamotion wellness leisure centre is also only 600m away. Ski buses connect you to the other Courchevel villages, and the gondola to 1850 can be used for exploring the boutiques, restaurants and amenities throughout your stay.
Chalet La Poudreuse is available on a bed and breakfast basis. A housekeeper provides daily housekeeping and breakfast preparation, with food and drink costs additional and payable at the end of your stay.
