Chalet Juno is a ski in ski out catered chalet in high altitude Val d’Isere. Each morning you can ski down directly to the main snow front where you can choose between heading up the Solaise or Bellevarde mountains. Once back at the chalet after your day’s skiing, you have your own private spa to enjoy before savouring relaxed family meals in the dining room on the top floor.
The chalet is arranged over four floors and 300m2 of floor area. Outside the exterior is classically alpine, with a stone façade, timber framing and stone roof. Inside modern luxury mixes with alpine charm to create a cosy and homely chalet. The entrance to the chalet is on the ground floor where you arrive directly into the ski and boot room. From here stairs head down to the spa or up to the bedrooms and living areas.
The top floor is given over to the communal living spaces, with one half the living room and the other the dining room and kitchen. Being at the top of the chalet these spaces sit underneath the beautiful timber ceiling and the vaulted roof create a feeling of grandeur and space. The fireplace adds to the traditional ambiance, and three balconies offer differing views onto the mountains.
Sleeping 12 guests there are six bedrooms all with en-suite facilities. There are two bedrooms on the ground floor and a further four bedrooms on the first floor. Three bedrooms have fixed double beds, and three bedrooms can be arranged with either double or twin beds. The rooms are decorated with plenty of wood panelling complemented by a calm and neutral colour palette.
The lowest level of the chalet is where you will find your private wellness area and is the perfect spot for relaxing after a day’s skiing, or for any non-skiers in your group. Take a dip in the soothing warmth of the indoor swimming pool, ease-tired muscles in the enveloping heat of the sauna, or simply enjoy the bubbles of the jacuzzi. There is also a dedicated cinema room on the ground floor for when you just want a cosy movie night in.
The centre of Val d’Isere is a 3-minute chauffeured drive away and there is a wide selection of shops, bars, and restaurants to discover. Val d’Isere is well known as an après ski destination so you can enjoy some partying on the slopes before dinner. For any skiers requiring ski lessons, the shared driver service can drop you off by the main snow front with just a few minutes’ drive.
Chalet Juno is available to rent on a catered chalet basis.
