Looking to ski in Val d’Isère, then No 6 Bellevarde may be the perfect catered ski chalet for you. Situated on the Santons piste, it is also only a 10 minute walk across the Solaise nursery slopes to the village centre.
An imposing stone-and-timber chalet situated on the edge of the Santons piste, this means you really can click in and out of your bindings a few steps up from the ski room door. There’s also a shuttle service, which operates in the morning and the afternoon to whisk you to and from the piste.
The chalet mixes genuine old timbers from a local dismantled farmhouse, Italian marble in the bathrooms and some rather lovely parquet on the floor. The vaulted sitting room has an open fireplace, floor to ceiling glass and abundant plump and inviting sofas from which to enjoy the breathtaking view.
Sleeping 12, there are six en-suite bedrooms on the first and second floor making this a perfect choice for a group of family or friends. No 6 Bellevarde has a combination of twin and double bedrooms, all with en-suite bath, hand basin and WC. Four of the rooms also have a balcony.
Your dedicated chalet hosts will be on hand to ensure you have all the information you need and will serve breakfast, afternoon tea and a 3 course dinner with wine on 6 evenings.
After a hard day on the slopes, the terrace hot tub is the perfect venue for beer and bubbles or head next door and relax in the shared indoor swimming pool and spa complex. The swimming pool and spa complex is shared with 2 other chalets.
A green/blue piste leads a few hundred yards down to the Olympique lift area and ski school meeting point from behind the chalet but the driver service will drop you there if you wish. The ski back to the chalet in the afternoon involves either a red or black piste or short traverse across some unkempt snow fields, otherwise a short walk up the hill from the piste. Don’t worry if your last ski down is into La Daille, the driver service will pick you up from La Daille until 6pm.
For guests staying in Hameau de Bellevarde chalets, there is an offer of complimentary ski guiding on Monday and Tuesday from 09h30-12h30 (12h00-15h00 in school holidays) with an Oxygene Instructor (subject to availability and a maximum of 20 guests) and there is a conveniently located ski & board rental service.
