Penthouse Umka is a catered property located on the seventh floor of Bear Lodge. Opened for the 2021/22 winter season, it is at the heart of a new piste side resort in the centre of Arc 1950. It offers the ultimate in slope side convenience with a ski in ski out location on the Baptiste Giabiconi blue piste and is also opposite the Marmottes & Bois de L’Ours chairlifts. In the morning you can head out directly onto the ski slopes from the concierge managed ski room and rental shop.
In Bear Lodge there are 12 luxury catered suites, along with a 30-bedroom hotel. There are wonderful communal amenities to enjoy including a spacious lounge and bar. The extensive spa facilities include an indoor swimming pool complex with sauna, steam room, hot tub, massage rooms, and fitness room. There is also a cinema, as well as a small conference room for the work conscious.
Penthouse Umka is a four-bedroom property arranged across two floors, providing very comfortable accommodation for 8-9 guests in four en-suite bedrooms. The suite is entirely independent with an open plan living and dining area plus a balcony that provides spectacular views overlooking the piste. Features include surround sound TV, WiFi, flatscreen TV’s in the bedrooms and a dedicated chalet host.
A shared nanny service, Bear Cubs, is available at additional charge to ensure both parents and children alike get the most out of their weeks winter holiday.
Bear Lodge has partnered with Ski Service in Arcs 1950 to provide the best equipment rental service for its guests. Pre-booked equipment will already be in your ski locker when you arrive, and any problems with fitting can be solved with the Intersport technician who is on hand to assist. At the end of your stay just leave your equipment in the locker. A short walk across the piste is the charming and traffic free resort of Les Arcs 1950 with a great mix of forty shops, cafés, bars, and restaurants.
