There is a large open plan living and dining room with floor to ceiling sliding doors opening out onto a lovely garden and terrace. Overlooking the dining area is the open plan kitchen where guests can watch whilst their chef prepares the finest cuisine throughout the week.
Bright and spacious there is plenty of room for all the family to relax and unwind after a hard day on the slopes. Whilst the adults enjoy a glass of champagne on the terrace and take in the wonderful views of the Matterhorn, the children can play in the snow right in front of the chalet.
At the heart of Chalet Shalimar is the wellness area and spa. Elena shares these facilities with the luxury apartment Alex, which sleeps 12 guests and occupies the two top floors of the chalet. There is a sauna, Hammam, massage room and a wonderful indoor swimming pool.
Elena is nestled in the enclave of Winklematten and snow permitting is perfectly positioned for keen skiers as you can ski to and from the property. The hustle and bustle of the centre of Zermatt is a 15 minute scenic walk away or a short ride in an electric taxi.
Chalet Elena is available to rent on a catered chalet basis, bed & breakfast or self-catered with or without daily housekeeping.
