Chalet Sandjeman is a modern five-bedroom luxury self-catered chalet in Morzine. This alpine retreat is tucked away in a peaceful mountainside location on the edge of a forest. The setting is also convenient for the resort, as you are only an eight-minute walk to the local bars and restaurants close to the Mairie de Morzine. A further 4 minutes and you are in the central square next to the Morzine Tourist Board, and close to the Pleney and Super Morzine lifts.
The chalet is arranged over four floors and can accommodate up to 12 guests. Built across half levels all accessed from a beautiful glass, metal and stone central staircase, the interior is clad in larch, giving it a cosy ambiance. Terraces and balconies on each floor allow you to make the most of the views of the forest and mountain views, including up to the Pointe de Nyon.
The heart of the chalet is on the second floor, where you’ll find the open-plan kitchen and dining area with a table seating 12 people. The kitchen is fully equipped for home cooking and features an island unit. Half a level up is the lounge area with TV nook, large sofas, and wood burning fireplace. For children and adults alike, there is a selection of board games, and speakers for your playlist.
If that is not enough, there is more space to unwind on the third floor where there is a second living room. Curl up here with your favourite holiday book if your eyes are not distracted by the mountain views from the floor-to-ceiling windows. From here head through a hidden door to the wellness area with a massage room and shower, before stepping out to the terrace with outdoor barrel sauna and hot tub, offering views of the forest.
The five bedrooms are spread across three floors. The master bedroom is a few steps up from level 3 and is spread across the entire level 4, along with offering more stunning views. On level 3 there are a further three double bedrooms all with en-suite shower rooms and balconies. Children will love their own chill out space in the bunk room on level 1, which features a quad bunk sleeping 4, TV lounge, and en-suite with shower over bath.
Also on level 1 is the entrance hall which provides access to a fully equipped laundry room, a toilet, as well as the ski room with heated boots racks. Guests will also have access to the double garage and there are an additional 3 car parking spaces outside of the chalet.
When staying at Chalet Sandjeman, you can also add access to a 24-hour in-resort driver service to your booking at extra cost. Simply call or WhatsApp the driver service and your group can go wherever you like in Morzine or Les Gets, day or night. You can be dropped at the ski lifts or ski school, picked up from bars and restaurants, or driven to the local spa for the day.
The chalet is located only a four-minute drive from the centre of Morzine and both the Pleney and Super Morzine ski lifts. The Pleney lift provides access to the slopes of Morzine & Les Gets, whilst the Super Morzine lift brings you up to the slopes that lead to Avoriaz. The Prodains Express Cable Car, taking you directly up to Avoriaz, is an 8-minute drive away.
Chalet Sandjeman is available to rent on a self-catered basis in both winter and summer. On request it is possible to organise a private chef to come in and cook for you. Pre-cooked meals can also be arranged and delivered to your chalet if you prefer.
