Chalet Goldilocks is a beautiful, modern luxury chalet in Morzine that is available for catered chalet ski holidays in the Portes du Soleil ski area. Sleeping 10-12 guests, the chalet is arranged over five floors, with an elevator connecting the bottom three levels. Unobstructed panoramic views over the resort, mountain range and across to the Pleney ski slopes can be enjoyed from the large terraces and outdoor hot tub.
On entering the chalet on the ground floor, you conveniently walk past the boot room, and you can take the elevator up to the first floor where there is the fully equipped gym. Up another level and you head into the heart of the chalet. Here the large state-of-the-art cinema room comfortably seats 12 and features a cocktail bar across the back wall, with extra seating on bar stools if required, or why not use for a mid-movie drink!
The first of the chalet’s five en-suite bedrooms completes the first floor, and is a large bunk room that sleeps four, and which also works perfectly as a family room. The other four double bedrooms are all spread across the second floor, and all feature balconies for when you prefer to enjoy the spectacular views in private, or with your morning coffee.
The split-level top floor comprises the open-plan kitchen/dining area, with steps leading up to a large mezzanine lounge with comfortable seating, a large screen TV and log fire. The large wrap around balcony with a dining table and plenty of comfy seating is perfect for a spot of al fresco dining in the spring months. The landscaped garden area out the back of the chalet is the perfect place to relax after a day on the slopes, with a large hot tub, barrel sauna and fire pit to enjoy.
The location offers a feeling of privacy, yet all within a 10-minute walk of the centre of Morzine and its extensive array of restaurants, bars and shops. The Super Morzine lift is just across the footbridge, which makes getting up to the snow-sure slopes of Avoriaz convenient. A further five-minute walk, brings you to the Pleney lift, providing access to the enjoyable Morzine & Les Gets ski area.
Guests also have access to the resort driver service which makes it nice and easy to access the ski lifts and ski school meeting points, as well as pick-ups from apres ski.
Chalet Goldilocks is available to rent on a catered chalet basis. Tucked just behind its smaller sister chalet, Three Bears, for larger groups you can rent both chalets together on a catered chalet basis, and which provides a combined capacity for up to 20 people.
