Chalet Les Loups in Meribel offers premium facilities which are as unbeatable as the location. Fully renovated and extended for the 2023-2024 ski season, the chalet is nestled a mere 200m from the coveted Doron blue piste. The meticulous refurbishment included the addition of extensive spa facilities with a new sauna, hammam, and outdoor hot tub with mountain views.
The chalet, located on the exclusive Route de la Renarde, is set over three spacious floors and accommodates up to 10 guests. Boasting five en-suite double or twin bedrooms, the master bedroom is a self-contained master suite with a private south-facing lounge. Three bedrooms are situated on the top floor, and two bedrooms are on the lower ground floor.
The chalet, one of the original ski chalets in Meribel, offers scenic mountain views through south-facing windows. Large reclaimed wooden beams and natural Savoie stone floors create a feeling of space and draws the surrounding mountains into the chalet. With its elevated position overlooking the village square of Meribel Centre, the chalet offers a prime setting.
After depositing your mountain equipment in the ski room, you descend some steps to the chalet entrance which leads into a living area divided into two separate areas by a central fireplace. Off the living area is the dining room leading to a balcony with views over the village and ski slopes. The lower floor is also where you will find the spa area with sauna, hammam and outdoor hot tub.
The chalet has an excellent setting for keen skiers as it is only 200m from the Doron blue piste. Once on the Doron, it is a short ski down to the main lift hub of La Chaudanne. At the Chaudanne there are four main ski lifts heading in different directions up onto the ski slopes, along with the ski school meeting points. For any beginner skiers, the chalet driver service can drop you directly at the Chaudanne in the mornings.
At the end of your ski day, if you are enjoying some après ski at the popular Le Rond Point (“Ronnies”) venue, afterwards you can ski back down the Doron piste to within 200m of the chalet. The resort centre of Meribel is a 10-minute downhill walk away, and where there is an eclectic mix of bars, restaurants and shops.
