Chalet Aster is perched high above Meribel in the high-altitude Mottaret area. Situated at an altitude of 1,750m, this modern chalet is a great base for keen skiers and snowboarders looking to explore the 3 Valleys ski area. The chalet is arranged across four floors and 240m2 of floor area and combines modern elegance with authentic, cosy Alpine charm.
The open plan living spaces with lounge, dining and kitchen are spread across the second floor. This light filled room invites you to gather around the fireplace on the deep sofas and enjoy convivial meals together. Outside, the balcony and terrace deliver stunning panoramic views onto the mountains including south to Mont Vallon at the head of the Meribel valley.
Sleeping 10 guests there are five bedrooms. On the top floor is the spacious master double bedroom with private balcony and en-suite with both a bath and shower, plus a toilet. The remaining four bedrooms are on the first floor with three twin/double bedrooms with en-suite showers, and a further twin bedroom with an en-suite shower room with toilet. There are 3 separate toilets throughout the chalet.
The chalet is well blessed with further facilities with the sauna no doubt a popular choice on your return from ski days in the depths of winter. A TV room on the ground floor is a welcome addition for family groups with children, or for a romantic movie night.
Every detail has been carefully considered, with ski boot dryers tucked away in the cloakroom, a ski locker, and a private garage. There is also a washing machine and tumble dryer, so everything you need for a seamless and memorable stay in Méribel has been covered.
The chalet is located only 160m from the snow front in the centre of Meribel Mottaret. From the snow front you have a choice of ski lifts depending on which area you wish to ski that day, and it is also possible to ski back to Mottaret from the 3 Valley links from Courchevel, Val Thorens, Les Menuires, and St Martin de Belleville.
Located a little further across the snow front are the ESF (French Ski School) meeting points, and there is also a ski bus stop just 70m from the chalet. Mottaret has all you need for your self-catered ski holiday with a small supermarket, selection of bars and restaurants, as well as ski rental shops. The ski bus also connects you to Meribel Centre where there is a wider selection of resort amenities, restaurants and après ski venues to enjoy.
