Chalet Altius in Meribel, completed for the 2017/18 winter season, is in a great position just off the Doron piste. The Doron piste is just a short walk away and from here you can ski down to the main Chaudanne lift hub in central Meribel. The centre of the resort is a 15-minute walk away for those who enjoy their shopping, and the famous Rond Point après ski venue is conveniently located on the piste a few hundred meters above the chalet.
A modern and large luxury chalet, the property is arranged over 4 floors and 400m2 of floor space connected by both stairs and an elevator. The main living area is arranged across the first floor and the elevated setting ensures you the best of the incredible views to the south and west. Outside, the wide balconies are the ideal spot for morning coffees or pre-dinner drinks with a magnificent mountain backdrop.
The living areas are arranged with a large living room to one side and the spacious dining room and kitchen on the other side. These rooms are connected by a bar area with seating, and it makes for a very convivial space. The lounge area is split in two, with large sofas and armchairs set around the fireplace, or up a couple of steps a separate TV area with huge teal velvet sofa for cosy movie nights.
The chalet sleeps up to 12 guests and the top floor is home to the large master bedroom, complete with spacious en-suite bathroom, dressing area and private balcony. The remaining 5 bedrooms are located on the ground floor, with 3 double, 1 twin/double and one bunk room. Three of these bedrooms have their own bathrooms, whilst one double and the bunk room share an en-suite, making this bedroom perfect for a family.
Also on the ground floor is the wonderful wellness area complete with hot tub, sauna, steam room, gym, and massage room. This area is sure to leave you feeling relaxed following your days skiing in the Three Valleys, or the perfect feature for any non-skiers to use at their leisure. On the basement level there is also a TV / cinema room which is a great space for children to enjoy during their holiday.
For those driving to Meribel, the chalet has a garage with space for 2 cars, and there is a further outdoor parking space available too. There is a ski room with heated boot warmers for all your mountain equipment, as well as a laundry room if required.
Chalet Altius is available to rent on both a self-catered and catered chalet basis.
