Chalet Chalain is a traditional ski chalet located in the hamlet of La Rosière, between Meribel Centre and Meribel Mottaret. Arranged over three floors and 200m2 of floor area, the chalet can sleep up to 12 people in five bedrooms. The middle floor is at the heart of the chalet with a wonderful wood burning fireplace taking centre stage. Large comfy sofas are the place to snuggle up after a day’s skiing and the adjoining dining room and kitchen are open plan, creating a great communal space. Numerous windows and a terrace offer stunning views over the ski area and up to Meribel Mottaret.
On the lower floor of the chalet there are three double bedrooms, as well as a quad bunk room perfect for four children. On the top floor is another double bedroom as well as a TV room tucked away beneath the chalet roof. The chalet has one en-suite bathroom, two shared bathrooms, one shared shower room, and a ski room.
The free resort ski bus also stops just 70m from the chalet and provides access to both Meribel Centre and Meribel Mottaret all day and into the late evening. For advanced skiers, and snow permitting, it is also possible to ski off-piste to and from the chalet. There is also a footpath which connects the hamlet to Meribel Mottaret 800m away.
