Chalet Le Moulin is undoubtedly the best located luxury chalet in Courchevel Le Praz. Sitting right on the edge of the lake and at the foot of the slopes, you can enjoy ski in ski out access so you can ski straight back to your chalet’s front door at the end of the day. The unobstructed views over the lake, mountains, Olympic ski jump, and bottom of the World Cup downhill slope can be enjoyed from the numerous balconies.
The chalet is arranged over four floors and there is an elevator if required after a long day’s skiing. The top floor is open plan and with vaulted ceilings and huge picture windows it provides a grand setting for the communal living spaces. The central fireplace divides the room in two, with the living room with handy bar to one side. On the other side is the dining table that is handily overlooked by the kitchen. The stunning views can also be enjoyed from the wide balcony.
Sleeping up to 12 adults and 2 children, there are six en-suite double bedrooms all featuring balconies. On the second floor is the master suite, along with a further two double bedrooms. Down one floor, and there are two double rooms as well as a family suite with double bed and additional bunk beds.
All the bedrooms are spacious, feature plenty of wood panelling and along with soft, muted tones, provide the perfect haven for a wonderful night’s sleep.
In a chalet as grand as this you would expect first class private spa and entertainment facilities, and with the entire ground floor dedicated to your wellness and relaxation, you will not be disappointed. The spa area has a steam room, massage room, and relaxation area and if you step outside there is a Norwegian barrel sauna and a cedar jacuzzi. Back inside, the cinema room will delight both children and adults.
At the beginning of your ski day, it is just a 150m slide along to the Telecabine du Praz which whisks you quickly up to Courchevel 1850. Whilst at the end of your day, there is a choice of red ski slopes that will bring you back to the chalet. Le Praz is a great destination for food lovers with a great selection of restaurants to enjoy in the evenings.
