Chalet Eclipse is an exceptional luxury chalet located in the heart of the charming alpine village of Courchevel Le Praz. The most authentic of the four Courchevel resorts, Le Praz is linked directly to the centre of Courchevel 1850 by a fast gondola. Conditions permitting, the chalet also has a ski-in location, meaning that you can maximise your time on the slopes of the huge 3 Valleys ski area.
The chalet is arranged over four floors and 420m2 of floor area. Entering directly into the chalet on the ground floor and you can deposit your ski equipment in the dedicated ski room. The rest of this floor is given over to relaxation and entertainment with a spa area with indoor swimming pool, poolside loungers, sauna, and massage room. For the children there is a TV / games room with giant screen which also works as a great dedicated space for younger guests.
Sleeping 12-14 guests there are 6 en-suite bedrooms arranged across the middle two floors of the chalet. Five of the bedrooms can be arranged with either double or twin beds, and one bedroom has a fixed double bed, whilst one bedroom also features an additional bunk room, ideal for a young family. The bedrooms are spacious and feature wood panelling completed by a neutral colour palette of shades of grey and white.
Stepping up to the top floor and you enter the stunning open plan living spaces. This floor is arranged around the central wood burning fireplace, and the vaulted ceiling only adds to the grandeur. There are plentiful sofas and armchairs for everyone to relax on, and the dining table comfortably seats 14. The kitchen is fully equipped for home catering, and open to the living space which only adds to the social ambiance.
The charming village of Courchevel Le Praz is full of narrow streets, traditional chalets, and old farmhouses. It is a great choice for those looking for an authentic base for their next ski holiday. It also features a lake and a ski jump built for the 1992 Albertville Olympic Games. The village centre is a flat and easy walk away and has a varied selection of restaurants and bars to enjoy in the evenings.
The high-speed gondola linking you directly to the centre of Courchevel 1850, and the Foret chairlift which arrives above the slopes that descend to La Tania, are a 7-minute walk away. Group ski lessons can be booked with a variety of ski schools with meeting points in the centre of Courchevel 1850. At the end of your ski day and snow conditions permitting, you can ski back to the chalet via the red “Brigues” piste.
