Chalet Irbis, tucked away at the end of the allée des cerisiers, is a beautiful luxury ski chalet in Courchevel Le Praz. This privileged setting affords an incredible view of the Dent du Villard mountain and Bozel valley. The chalet is a great destination for those looking for a luxurious chalet in a charming mountain resort, all with easy access to the 3 Valleys, the world’s largest ski area.
The chalet is spread across four floors and 356m2 of floor space. Arranged around a central staircase, the interior offers a harmonious blend of traditional timber architecture, contemporary furniture, and soft fabrics. The top floor, with vaulted ceiling and striking feature fireplace, is home to the open plan living and dining rooms plus kitchen. This level offers a 360-degree view thanks to its bay windows that open onto a terrace and balcony.
Sleeping up to 10 guests, there are five en-suite bedrooms. On the first floor is the master suite with separate seating area and en-suite with both bath and shower. A further two double bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms complete the first floor. On the ground floor are a further two bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms, and which can be arranged with either double or twin beds. All bedrooms have either balcony or terrace access.
On the lowest level of the chalet are your private spa and wellness facilities. Here you can unwind after your day on the ski slopes. The sauna and steam room will ease your tired muscles, and the Italian style shower also has a refreshing cold-water bucket to experience for full refreshment! Afterwards you can recline in the relaxation lounge area and just relax and chat about your day.
There is also a large ski room with heated boot warmers and a laundry room with washing machine and tumbler dryer. For those driving to the 3 Valleys for their ski holiday, the chalet also has a garage and car parking space, along with an electric car charging station if required.
The chalet is located a short walk from the Brigues red piste, which descends from Courchevel 1850. The piste continues to the centre of Courchevel Le Praz and the fast Praz gondola which connects you to the centre of Courchevel 1850.
Group ski lessons can be booked with a variety of ski schools with meeting points in the centre of Courchevel 1850. You also have access to a shuttle service to make it easy to get to the gondola each morning, and to pick you up at the end of your ski day in Le Praz.
The charming village of Le Praz has narrow streets, traditional chalets, and old farmhouses, making it an authentic choice for your next ski holiday. It also features a lake and a ski jump built for the 1992 Albertville Olympic Games. The village centre is a flat and easy 400m walk away and has a lovely selection of restaurants and bars to enjoy in the evenings.
For large groups, Chalet Irbis can be joined with neighbouring Chalet Khoton via either the spa or garage, to create a cohabiting space for up to 20 guests.
Chalet Irbis is available to rent on a bed & breakfast basis with a housekeeper to prepare daily breakfasts and provide daily housekeeping. A daily shuttle service to and from the ski lifts in Courchevel Le Praz is provided at the start and end of your ski day.
