Chalet Ursus in Courchevel 1650 is a modern chalet completed in 2020 and situated close to the ski slopes. Located at the entrance to the residential area of Le Belvédère, it is only 100m from the edge of the green Belvedere piste. The chalet is well equipped for a relaxing stay in the 3 Valleys with a charming living area and private spa facilities.
The chalet is spread across four floors and 150m2 of floor area. Sleeping 6-10 guests across four bedrooms, the chalet is a great option for a couple of families or a small group of friends looking to holiday together. At the top of the chalet is the open plan living area with high ceilings and panoramic views across the valley – the perfect space for everyone to come together.
The living area is divided into three defined spaces with a lounge with fireplace and large screen TV, a dining area, and kitchen with island unit and breakfast bar. Stepping outside, 2 balconies let you enjoy the fresh mountain air and are a great spot for your morning coffee. Above the living area is also a separate mezzanine area with a TV, Sonos speaker and Xbox games console.
The four bedrooms are spread evenly across the middle two floors. On the first floor are two double bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms and balcony access. On the second floor is a further en-suite double bedroom again with balcony access. The final bedroom is a quad bunk room sleeping four and ideal for children. There is also a separate toilet on this level.
On your return from the slopes, you can sink into the outdoor Nordic hot tub and relax, or step into the sauna and let the heat ease-tired muscles. Alternatively, there is also a fitness room for those still with energy to burn.
The chalet also has a spacious ski room with plentiful storage and boot heaters, along with a laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer. If driving to Courchevel for your ski holiday, there is 1 garage car parking space and 2 exterior car parking spaces available for guests staying at Chalet Ursus.
In the morning it is just a 100m walk to the slopes and after a quick and easy ski you will be at the Ariondaz gondola, ski school meeting points and centre of Courchevel 1650. At the end of your ski day, you can return to the same spot via either the blue Marquis or green Belvedere pistes and walk the 100m back to the chalet.
From the chalet it is a 500m downhill walk on a footpath to the centre of Courchevel 1650. In the resort there are a varied choice of restaurants and bars, along with s supermarket and bakery for all your self-catering provisions.
Chalet Ursus is available to rent on a self-catered basis.
