One of Lech’s most prestigious and luxurious properties, Überhaus is nestled in the exclusive enclave of Oberlech. Combining traditional materials with contemporary design it is a thoroughly elegant and sophisticated alpine retreat. The chalet offers fantastic ski in and ski out access along with panoramic views, and can be accessed by vehicle throughout the season, atypical in the Oberlech area.
The chalet accommodates up to 10 adults and 4 children with a spacious master suite, two double bedrooms and two family suites, all with en-suite bathroom facilities. The outstanding relaxation and spa area is fully equipped with an outdoor hot tub, sauna, steam room, gym, massage room, snooker room, bar, and cinema room. The challenge is deciding in which way to unwind or relax first.
Located at the very edge of the blue Grubenalpe-Oberlech-Lech piste, ski in and ski out access does not get much better than this. On entering the chalet on the ground floor, you are greeted by the warmth of the open fireplace in the hallway. Upstairs, the impressive and grand open plan reception and dining area, with a table seating 14, is the perfect space for entertaining guests.
The two family suites and a further double bedroom all with en-suite facilities are located on the ground floor. The first of the family suites contains a double bedroom and a separate children’s room with two sets of bunks sleeping four children. The second family suite has a double bedroom and a children’s bunk in the alcove, where the top bunk bed can be folded away to make a seating area.
From the ground floor you also access the extensive terrace with hot tub, located right on the edge of the piste. Here is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of chilled champers whilst the steamy bubbles soothe your mind and soul. All the while the uninterrupted views of the surrounding snowy peaks only add to the magical scene.
Making your way downstairs to the lower ground floor, you will find the ski room, wine cave, and entertainment and fitness areas.
The first floor of the chalet is given over entirely to the living and dining areas separated by the feature fireplace. The well-equipped professional kitchen can either be left open to the dining room or closed off by sliding doors. A large balcony to the front of the property is accessed from the living and dining areas.
The master suite and a further en-suite double bedroom are located on the top floor of the chalet. The master suite boasts its own living area and dressing room as well as a beautiful bathroom with roll-top bath and a separate shower.
When it comes to tearing yourself away from the chalet, you couldn’t be better located for hitting the ski slopes. Situated to the side of the Grubenalpe-Oberlech-Lech piste, slide straight onto the slopes, from where you can ski down Schlosskopfbahn chairlift in Lech.
An alternative is a 6-minute walk through Oberlech that will bring you to the Bergbahn Lech-Oberlech cable car. This lift offers an easy and stress-free descent to the centre of resort for non-skiers, or those looking to take their first turns on skis on the beginner areas. Also, at the top of the cable car, the Petersbodenbahn chairlift in Oberlech offers uplift onto the higher slopes of the Lech ski area.
Lech is a 6-minute drive from the chalet, and offers a charming selection of shops, restaurants and bars.
