Chalet Oxalis is a modern luxury self-catered chalet in Val d’Isere. Tucked away at the top of the resort in the beautiful village setting of Le Fornet, this privileged area provides a more relaxed ambiance than the buzzing resort centre. With the ski slopes and Le Fornet cable car only a few minute’s walk away, you can easily enjoy all this world class resort can offer from your own charming Alpine home.
The chalet is arranged over three floors and 200m2 of living space. Sleeping 8-10 guests there are four en-suite bedrooms. On the lowest floor there are two twin or double rooms with en-suite showers as well as the master with large double/twin bed and en-suite bath and shower room.
The final bedroom is located on the middle floor and is perfect for a family with one double bed and a bunk bed sleeping up to four in total. The top floor of the chalet is dedicated to the stunning open plan living room. Set under a beautiful vaulted timber ceiling this space is a cocoon of traditional Alpine warmth.
Snuggle into the huge sofa and be warmed by the large fireplace or step out onto the balcony and enjoy the views of the authentic chalets, old bridge and the Fornet cable car whizzing up the mountain. The kitchen and adjoining dining table provide the perfect spot for evening dinner parties.
For some private après ski relaxation the chalet has a dedicated spa area on the lower floor with an indoor hot tub, sauna, shower and small relaxation area. The entrance lobby has ski locker and boot dryers.
The Le Fornet cable car and the bottom of the Mangard and Cognon pistes is only a couple of minutes easy walk away. The centre of Val d’Isere is easily accessed by the regular ski bus that runs until the early hours.
For larger groups, or several families looking to holiday together, Chalet Oxalis is located next door to Chalet Akaroa and which can accommodate an additional 10-12 people.
