Chalet Atacama, built for the 2022/23 winter season, is an elegant chalet-apartment in the charming village of Le Fornet, Val d’Isere. The Le Fornet cable car is only 250m away and the bottom of the ski slopes only 200m. The centre of Val d’Isere, along with the ski school meeting points on the main snow front, are all easily accessible by free ski bus which runs all day and late into the night.
Atacama is a beautifully decorated property that mixes traditional timber detailing with modern touches to create a luxurious retreat to relax in after long day’s skiing. The open plan living space features a wood burning fireplace and high ceilings, whilst the terrace overlooks stunning scenery, including views of the Isère river, so you can take in the sights from the comfort of your own chalet.
Sleeping up to 10 guests, there are four stylish bedrooms. There are two double bedrooms on the lower level along with a quad bunk room sleeping 4. On the upper level is the master bedroom along with a jacuzzi bath and sauna. For larger groups, Les Sources de l’Isere, can also be rented and is in the same building as Atacama.
Tranquil Le Fornet has a small selection of chic restaurants, and when it comes to snow is particularly known for great powder skiing and its direct access to the renowned Pisaillas glacier slopes. For those driving to resort, an underground parking space will be available from December 2023.
