Chalet Chardon, nominated for the 2015 International Design Awards, is nestled in a quiet Morzine hamlet at the foot of the Pleney pistes. Only a couple of minutes drive from the ski slopes it is also only a 5 minute walk to the centre of Morzine.
From the exterior, this contemporary chalet is elegantly restrained, in keeping with its location in an old quarter of the village. Constructed from reclaimed wooden beams with traditional pegged joints, Chalet Chardon feels as if it has always been there.
The luxury of endless space defines this chalet, comprising 6 demi-levels, which make the most of its generous 450m2 of living space. As you move upwards through the levels the chalet opens up like a tardis to the sumptuous open-plan living areas and mezzanines at the top of the building with their exceptional views of the resort.
Wraparound balconies and terraces enable guests to enjoy views across Morzine village up to Avoriaz at the front, and to the beautiful peak of Nyon at the back.
The chalet sleeps 15 guests in six en-suite bedrooms. For adults and children alike, the chalet is both sanctuary and entertainment centre, providing the space and mix of activities to meet all requirements.
Relax in one of the two living areas on the top floor, or catch up with work in the office area. Get away from it all and unwind in the hot tub or sauna, or catch a movie in the fabulous cinema. The bar with sitting area is a great space for hanging out pre-dinner, and the chalet also has a pool table too.
After a ski-tour of the Portes du Soleil slopes, offload equipment in the heated boot room and take to your generously spaced bedroom for a snooze. Afterwards, meet up on the balcony or around the fire for pre-dinner drinks before a wonderful evening meal prepared by your chef.
Chalet Chardon is available on a catered chalet basis and is priced for up to 12 guests. There is an additional charge for further guests.
