Chalet Abreuvoir is a charming luxury ski chalet in Meribel Raffort, an authentic French village at the heart of the 3 Valleys ski area. Entirely rebuilt in 2012, the chalet is a 5 minute drive from the centre of Meribel, and it is possible to ski back to the village, snow permitting, on the Raffort piste.
The chalet is arranged over four floors and 250m2 of living space and can sleep 10-12 people. There is plenty of old timber and characterful stonework on the exterior and inside is all cosy Alpine touches along with spectacular views of the valley. For those after a “chocolate box” ski chalet in the world’s largest ski resort then this is one for the shortlist.
The ground floor of the chalet is decked out with great facilities with a spacious cinema room, spa area with indoor hot tub and sauna plus a ski room with boot warmers. This floor is completed with a double / twin bedroom with en-suite shower room. If required the cinema room can be arranged with a sofa bed for the 11th and 12th guests.
On the first floor there are two double bedrooms both with en-suite shower rooms, whilst the final bedrooms are arranged over the top floor. The fourth bedroom is a double / twin with en-suite shower room and the final room is the master suite with en-suite shower and in-room bathtub with fantastic views.
The open plan living spaces are found on the 2nd floor with an open kitchen, dining room and lounge with large feature fireplace. The main south-facing terrace gives a spectacular view of the Meribel valley, the summit of La Saulire and Mont Vallon at 3000 metres in height. The fireplace is at the heart of the chalet and the lounge is set out around it making it perfect for evenings together.
Raffort is an utterly charming French Village with a growing selection of luxury chalet rentals. The Télécabine de l’Olympe, which takes you directly into the main Chaudanne lift hub, pistes and ski school meeting points is only a 300m walk from the chalet. There is a resort ski bus stop 200m from the chalet.
The chalet has access to a garage providing dedicated car parking spaces and which is shared with Chalet Ecume des Neiges and Chalet Ruisseau. For larger groups these chalets can be rented together to provide accommodate for up to 40 people.
The chalet is rented on a self-catered basis with daily return piste drops, but it is possible to add in additional services such as breakfast delivery and a full day in-resort driver service – please enquire for further details.
