Chalet Libellule is located in a quiet area, yet close to the centre of Courchevel Moriond (1650) and close to the ski slopes. An escalator located just 1-minute walk from the chalet allows you to go up to the centre of the village, in front of the ski lifts and a few steps from the snow front. Chalet Libellule is also very close to Aquamotion, the largest mountain aquatic centre in Europe.
The main living area is located on the second floor of the chalet. There is a large and fully equipped kitchen that opens on to a highly refined dining room. The kitchen features a breakfast bar perfect for a relaxed morning coffee, or with a drink and in the evening whilst dinner is being prepared. The dining table, with feature chandelier, has wonderful views over the Courchevel valley and a stunning backdrop for evening meals.
The dining room flows freely into the living room with this wonderful open plan space centred on the large feature fireplace. This space features double height ceilings and large picture windows which let the light and stunning views flood in. The decor is full of beautiful soft tones and pastel colours and creates a wonderfully calm and relaxes ambiance.
The lounge area also features a TV corner, where children and teenagers love to take refuge. This way you can enjoy the stay while having your children near you in the TV area. The architect himself, Sebastien Poisson, admits that the living room makes this chalet unique in Courchevel, due to the double height ceilings and the gigantic bay windows that surround the room.
Outside the huge terrace at the southwest corner of the chalet ensures that you can enjoy the sun and the unobstructed view of the valley all day long.
The master suite of the chalet occupies the third floor of the chalet and can be accessed by elevator or by the wonderful feature wooden staircase.
The master features a large double bed facing the double height picture windows so as to take full advantage of the stunning panoramic views. Imagine waking up in front of a beautiful landscape and a sublime view while staying in your bed.
Behind the headboard, a large office space is available if you need to do some work and on the right, a comfortable seating corner. There is plenty of storage space and a fabulous en-suite bathroom featuring separate bath and shower. The mezzanine area outside the master suite features a library with a multitude of board games.
The other 4 bedrooms are all located on the first floor, again which can be accessed by either stairs of elevator. All have a large and beautiful headboards, carpets and large walk-in wardrobes, designer bathrooms and access to a terrace with stone walls and copper finishes. 2 of the bedrooms are fixed doubles, whilst the other 2 can be arranged as either double or twin beds.
On the lower level, everything has been conceived in a very practical way with a vast garage and a ski room to store all your equipment. For some après ski relaxation a large private sauna allows you to unwind in the comfort of your own private chalet.
Chalet Libellule is available to rent on a bed & breakfast basis with a housekeeper to prepare daily breakfasts* and provide daily housekeeping. * The cost of the ingredients for breakfast are additional and charged locally.
