Etoile du Nord, launched for the 2022/23 winter season, comprises two adjoining chalets, the “West” and “East” Wing. Here you are tucked away in the Petite Alaska enclave, but only an easy 10-minute walk to the bustling centre of lively Val d’Isere. Access is via a private, tunnelled entrance, making Etoile du Nord one of the most private and exclusive chalets in Val d’Isere.
The chalet is arranged over five floors and 700m2 of floor area, with an elevator also serving four floors. Set against a panoramic alpine backdrop, the contemporary interior of this home strikes the perfect balance between modern luxury and traditional cosiness, whilst the in-chalet wellness facilities make it a haven for relaxation.
The first floor is dedicated to the communal and open plan living areas where your eyes will no doubt be immediately drawn to the staggering views from the huge picture windows. Snuggle up by the fireside on the comfy sofas or enjoy an aperitif in the cosy reading corner. The kitchen overlooks the dining table where you can delight in fine dining experiences or familiar family-style meals.
Accommodating up to 12 adults and 2 children in six bedrooms, there are three double en-suite bedrooms on the ground floor, one of which can be arranged as a twin. On the lower ground floor there is a further en-suite double, plus a bunk room with separate bathroom. The master suite has complete privacy on the top floor and even features its own outdoor hot tub on the private balcony.
The private spa is arranged on the ground floor where a 3.7m deep heated swimming pool also has a shallower jacuzzi area for those needing to unwind with minimal effort. After a swim, let the warmth of the sauna and hammam relax aching muscles before lounging poolside, or let your concierge organise a massage in the dedicated treatment room.
The cinema and games room is located on the lower ground floor and can be left either open or closed off from the bunk room. The room is equipped with a huge flat-screen TV, plush sofas, pool table, ping pong table, a sleek bar and a window allowing an underwater view to the swimming pool.
On the basement level there is a large, shared garage with two dedicated car parking spaces, and a private ski and boot room. Please note, the property is directly attached to a neighbouring chalet.
During your stay, your chauffeur will be on hand to whisk you to the snow front and ski lifts in just a few minutes, as well as pick you up at the end of your ski day, from shopping, or after après ski.
Chalet Etoile du Nord West Wing is available to rent on a catered chalet basis. It is possible to rent with different service packages – Gold or Famille – depending on your preference for a fine dining and all day service, or a more relaxed, paired back dining and service experience. On all catered bookings, all food and beverages are charged separately from the booking price, at cost price plus applicable VAT.
