Chalet Neve is a ski in ski out chalet in Val d’Isere located on the edge of the Joseray piste. This historic chalet will charm winter sports enthusiasts with its slope side setting and charming alpine interior. The large terrace will let you enjoy the snowy panorama over the mountains and resort and is a great spot for an après ski beverage at the end of your day on the ski slopes.
The chalet is arranged over three floors and 220m2 of floor area and can accommodate up to 14 guests. The entrance to the chalet is on the ground floor where you arrive at the lobby with ski storage. On this level are the first of the six bedrooms with one double room with en-suite shower, and a children’s room with 2 bunk beds sleeping up to 4. There is also an independent shower room, toilet and laundry room.
Taking the stairs up to the middle floor and you can head right into the open plan living areas or left to two further bedrooms. The living room is a haven of wood panelling, a vaulted ceiling and grand wood burning fireplace. Here you can snuggle up in the evenings and simply relax on the sofas whilst admiring the views. Outside a wraparound balcony and terrace let you enjoy the warmer spring months al fresco.
At the back of the living space is the semi open kitchen with breakfast bar and plentiful worktops for meal prep. The fully equipped kitchen will have any budding chef in your group enjoying cooking up evening meals in this convivial space. The dining table sits at the heart of this room, whilst the breakfast bar seats an additional three people.
The middle floor is completed with a further two double bedrooms, one with an en-suite with bath, shower and toilet. There is also an independent bath and shower room and separate toilet. Up on the top floor are the final two double bedrooms, one with an en-suite bath and sink. There is also a separate toilet in the hallway.
The chalet also features a couple of great breakout spaces which are perfect for families with children. On the ground floor is a games room with a vintage pinball machine, sitting area and flatscreen TV, whilst up on the top floor and tucked away under the eaves is a cosy snug perfect for a quiet read or catch up with your favourite TV series.
At the end of your ski day, or for any non-skiers in your group, you will surely appreciate the wellness facilities on the ground floor. Unwind in the indoor swimming pool before easing tired muscles in the glass fronted sauna. The shower will provide a refreshing end to your private spa experience.
The chalet also has one outdoor car parking space available if self-driving to Val d’Isere.
The chalet could not be better located to maximise your time on the slopes with the edge of the Joseray slope just 5m away. From here it is the briefest of slides down to the main snow front and array of ski lift options. Either take the L’Olympique gondola up onto the Bellevarde mountain and onward to the ski slopes of Tignes, or head up onto Solaise and then over to the Pisaillas glacier.
For those needing ski school, all the international ski schools as well as the ESF (French Ski School) all have meeting points on the main snow front.
It is a 500m walk to the resort centre where there is an abundance of dining and nightlife options to discover, as well as supermarkets for your self-catering provisions. The efficient ski bus service also means you can access all the resort has to offer, as well as returning from après ski after the lifts have closed.
