Chalet Lashca is a beautiful ski chalet located in the village of Le Fornet in Val d’Isere. This charming chalet is authentically themed throughout, with a wood and stone exterior, a beautiful living space, and excellent facilities. Located in a peaceful area of Val d’Isere the chalet offers easy access to the Le Fornet gondola and the highest ski slopes of the Val d’Isere ski area.
This spacious chalet is spread across three floors and 600m2 of floor area. Accommodating 8-12 guests, there are five bedrooms. The entrance to the chalet is on the ground floor where the ski room is located. Off this room is a cosy TV and games room with a projector and pool table and is a great feature for family groups with children.
Also on the ground floor is the dedicated spa and pool area. The large indoor swimming pool along with poolside loungers and a window offering mountain views is the perfect spot for relaxing after a day of skiing. The space is also equipped with a sauna and steam room that offer the perfect tonic for aching muscles after a day in the mountains.
Heading upstairs to the first floor and this is where all the sleeping quarters are arranged. The first bedroom is the spacious master complete with TV, balcony with stunning mountain views, along with an en-suite bathroom with a glorious bath to soak in, a spacious walk-in shower, dressing room and separate toilet.
The next three bedrooms are all doubles, each uniquely themed with its own colour scheme. All three bedrooms afford access to a shared balcony, and two also have en-suite shower rooms. The third of these double rooms shares a bathroom with the bunk room next door. This final bedroom is delightful bunk room, with four single beds perfect for children, and offers access to an outdoor area.
Up one final flight of stairs and we arrive into the top floor and the wonderful open-plan living and dining area that is framed by the huge floor-to-ceiling windows. This space is flooded with natural light and provides fantastic mountain views. Set beneath the beautiful wood roof, the lounge area is decked out with plush, comfy sofas and armchairs that surround the fireplace. Next to the living room is a cosy TV snug, the perfect spot for children to have their own space.
The kitchen is expertly equipped for your chef if booking on a catered basis, or for home cooking if renting self-catered. The kitchen with island unit / breakfast bar, faces out onto the dining table that can seat 8. Stepping outside form this space, a spacious balcony runs across the front of the chalet and is the perfect spot for soaking up the views.
This chalet is tucked away in the peaceful hamlet of Le Fornet, just a 3-minute walk from the Le Fornet gondola that offers direct access to some of the resort’s best off-piste skiing and highest ski slopes. The centre of Val d’Isere and the ski school meeting points are a 5-minute drive away and can also be accessed all day and late into the night by the resort ski bus that stops close by.
Chalet Lashca is available to rent on a catered chalet basis as well as a self-catered and bed & breakfast basis.
