Chalet Angelus 2 is a renovated ski chalet located in the old village of Val d’Isère and only 150m to the ski slopes. This privileged setting amongst the narrow streets and close to the old church of the village heart means everything is within walking distance. Inside, the contemporary interior provides a counterpoint to the authentic setting yet still ensures a cosy and intimate home for your alpine holiday.
Spread across four floors and 350m2 of floor area the chalet can accommodate 10-14 guests across six bedrooms. A lift connects each floor of the chalet, making every space easily accessible. The entrance to the chalet is through the garage on level -1. Here, the ski room awaits, complete with boot warmers to ensure every day on the slopes begins in comfort.
On this same level your private wellness facilities are tucked away and where you can unwind and restore in the swimming pool and sauna after a day in the mountains. In the evenings, settle in for a quiet evening in the cinema room.
On the ground floor, a charming Alpine-style corridor sets a warm and inviting tone. It leads to a delightful children’s dormitory, thoughtfully designed to sleep four, with its own en-suite bathroom and separate toilet. Two additional double bedrooms offer a sense of calm and comfort, each with their own en-suite shower room. One of the bedrooms has access to a separate toilet on the floor below.
The first floor continues this feeling of cosy refinement, featuring a guest toilet and three generously sized double bedrooms. Each room is designed as a peaceful retreat, complete with en-suite shower rooms. Two of the bedrooms are also equipped with en-suite toilets.
Finally, at the top of the property on the second floor, the heart of the chalet reveals itself in a space filled with warmth and tranquillity. The crackle of the fire pairs beautifully with sweeping views of the Val d’Isère mountains, creating an atmosphere that invites you to slow down. The semi-open kitchen flows seamlessly into the living and dining areas, encouraging quality time together with loved ones.
The chalet is very well located for quick access to the ski slopes, with the main snow front just a 150m walk away. Here you have an abundance of ski lifts to choose from depending on if you wish to head up to the Bellevarde or Solaise side of the Val d’Isere ski area. The ski school meeting point are all arranged around the snow front, and all are within 200-400m.
The centre of Val d’Isere and tourist office is an easy and flat 4–5-minute walk away. The resort centre offers a wide array of bars, restaurants and shops and offers plenty of diversions for any non-skiers in your group.
Chalet Angelus 2 is available to rent on a catered basis. Menus can be agreed with the chef, with the food and drink costs additional, and charged at the end of your stay.
