Chalet Griffonner in Morzine, built in 2020, enjoys one of the most spectacular views in the valley. This self-catered chalet sleeping 8, built and decorated to the highest standards, offers a breathtaking panorama over the village and ski slopes. Nestled on the mountainside in the desirable setting of Les Encoches, the south facing orientation lets you enjoy the sunshine throughout the day.
Arranged over four floors, the chalet has been designed for a thoroughly indulgent holiday. The open plan living and dining spaces are spread across the third level with floor to ceiling windows leading out to a wraparound deck. The fantastic kitchen is perfect for entertaining, the beautiful fireplace will create that cosy and warm winter ambiance, and pre-dinner aperitifs delightful on the balcony.
This floor also features two further entertaining rooms, with firstly a dedicated cinema room offering the perfect spot to unwind with a movie after a hard day’s alpine adventure. A separate TV snug is a great space as a children’s playroom where they can watch TV or play board games. A communal toilet/shower can be easily accessed from this room.
Down on level 2 is the spa and wellness area with an indoor sauna, shower and treatment room where you can enjoy a massage or beauty treatment. Stepping out from the spa to an outdoor deck and a hot tub that takes in the perfect setting and views is ready for you to sink into.
The chalet’s four dedicated en-suite bedrooms are spread between level 1, level 2 and level 4. At the top of the chalet, and with the entire floor to itself, is the master suite. With a walk-in wardrobe, sitting area, wraparound windows and a balcony, this is more than just a place to sleep.
On level 2 there are two further bedrooms, and on level 1 the final bedroom. All four bedrooms can be arranged with either double or twin beds, giving maximum flexibility for groups and families.
The chalet is completed with a ski room with boot warmers, laundry room, and outdoor car parking. The ski lifts and ski slopes are a few minute’s drive away and you can walk into the centre of Morzine in 15 minutes.
Chalet Griffonner is available to rent on a Self-Catered, Breakfast & Driving and Relaxed Catered basis. On a Self-Catered basis, it is also possible to add in a driver service to and from the ski slopes – please enquire for additional information and pricing.
