Chalet Iona is a wonderful Alpine retreat set in its own private and secluded orchards in the Méribel valley. From the picture windows enjoy the truly breathtaking views across 13 pretty villages that stretch towards the Vanoise National Park and the magnificent Grand Bec mountain rising over 3,400 metres.

If quality time in a luxurious property with first class service is as important as skiing in the 3 Valleys, then Chalet Iona is the perfect choice. Here the silence is broken only by bird song, and not surprising that some guests in Iona put skiing in second place within days of arriving, just to enjoy the peace and comfort of the chalet.
The property comprises 2 buildings; the main chalet Iona, completely rebuilt 2017, sleeps 12 in its two master bedrooms and 4 twin or double guest rooms. The entrance opens into a large, high ceilinged living area with a stunning, modern open plan kitchen, inviting seating areas around the dramatic, suspended fireplace and a huge, hand-made oak dining table close to the large east-facing panoramic windows.
Stairs lead down to an elegant sitting room with wood burning stove, cinema area, reading corners with board games. This area opens onto the large Jacuzzi terrace, the first master bedroom is also on this floor.
On the lowest level are the remaining 5 bedrooms, each with its own style, be it art deco or Biedermeier furniture, or reflecting the seasons or the passions of the owner’s family and each with its own bath or shower room.
Next door and with the same lovely views is the picture-postcard Chalet India, perfect for a couple or 3 intimate friends.
This is a unique chalet destination in Méribel that will create so many more memories than your normal ski holiday.
Chalet Iona is available on a catered chalet basis and is priced for up to 12 guests. There is an additional charge for further guests.
