Chalet Yolo is part of the Chalets Célénia complex in La Gittaz, a quiet area of Méribel. This is a great chalet for large family gatherings where spacious living spaces and extensive spa facilities are paramount. When not on the ski slopes, the chalet makes the perfect base from which to enjoy your holiday in the mountains.
The chalet is spread across five floors and can accommodate 8-15 guests across six bedrooms. An elevator also makes access nice and easy, especially for multi-generational family groups. The communal living spaces are spread across the top floor which features a high ceiling and large sofas, perfect for meeting up with family or friends around the fireplace.
The top floor is a story of two halves, with the fireplace forming the central focal point. A huge sofa invites you to recline in comfort, with a flat screen TV conveniently mounted above the fireplace if you prefer to unwind with your favourite series. To the other side, and the large dining table is perfect for relaxed family meals and is overlooked by the fully equipped kitchen.
The six bedrooms are spread across three floors. On the third floor, one below the living spaces, there are three en-suite double bedrooms all with either balcony or terrace access. On the second floor is a further en-suite double bedroom, as well as a quad bunk room ideal for 4 children, with this room having an adjoining bathroom. The final bedroom is on the first floor and is another bunk room, this time sleeping 3, and has use of the shower in the spa area.
Where this chalet really comes into its own is with the extensive wellness facilities. On the second floor is a spa area with indoor swimming pool and hot tub along with a with relaxation area and shower. Down on the first floor is a secondary wellness area with a steam room, sauna, yoga room, sensory shower and toilet.
The facilities continue with a cinema room, also on the first floor, as well as a ski room with boot heaters and a laundry room with washing machine and dryer on the ground floor. The chalet also has indoor car parking spaces available if driving to Meribel.
The hamlet of La Gittaz is located a 5-minute drive from Meribel Centre and the main lift hub and ski school meeting points of La Chaudanne. The Golf chairlift located in Meribel Village is a little closer, and a 3-minute drive away. The blud graded Lapin piste returns to Meribel Village too. Both ski access points can be accessed using the chalets daily shuttle service to and from the slopes.
La Gittaz provides for a wonderfully authentic mountain setting for your holiday. If you prefer to be surrounded by nature with beautiful views of the Meribel valley, the setting is magical. Add in all the excellent spa and entertainment facilities, and it will be hard to choose between heading out onto the slopes or simply relaxing in your mountain home for the week.
Chalet Yolo is available to rent on a self-catered basis including a daily shuttle service to and from the ski slopes, or on a bed & breakfast basis including daily housekeeping and private driver service to the slopes.
