Chalet Appaloosa is a self-catered luxury chalet in Meribel built for the 2019/20 winter season. Located in Mussillon, the famed chalet quarter of this world class ski resort, the resort amenities are all just an easy walk away. The setting is private and the chalets orientation and design mean that you can enjoy watching the sunset over the mountains from the terraces and balconies.
Arranged over five floors and 280m2 of living space the chalet sleeps 10 people in five en-suite bedrooms. The open plan living and dining rooms are located on the middle floor and with high vaulted ceilings and picture windows this space is full of grandeur. The triple exposure of this room ensures great views of the mountains and the large terrace best enjoyed from the outdoor Jacuzzi.
The sitting room has deep sofas to sink into after a hard day’s skiing and the perfect place to chat with friends and family. The log burning fireplace lends an authentic ambiance to this modern ski chalet whilst the dining table is adjacent to the open kitchen, ensuring this convivial space is enjoyed all together.
The master suite with king-size double bed, lounge area, office corner and en-suite bathroom is located in privacy over the entire floor above the living space. The remaining four double bedrooms are located over the two lower floors with two of the rooms able to be arranged with twin beds. There is a wellness area with sauna and sofas for some lazy après ski rejuvenation.
The chalet is completed with a ski room with boot warmers, ski rack and sofa on the top floor as well as outdoor car parking spaces.
The centre of Meribel is a 10 minute walk away and the free ski bus also stops close by the chalet, meaning it is easy to reach the resort centre, main ski lifts and ski school meeting points at anytime of the day.
Chalet Appaloosa is available to rent on a self-catered basis and includes a daily private shuttle for 1 return trip between the chalet and La Chaudanne lift hub.
