Chalet Black Lodge is in the heart of the Chenus district of Courchevel 1850. This quiet and elevated setting offers panoramic views across the valley as well as over the resort. The location is also only 75m from the Petit Dou ski slope from where you can quickly ski down to the main snow front and La Croisette lift hub. The modern exterior hints at the contemporary styling of the interior.

The chalet is spread across five floors and a very spacious 875m2 of floor area, with an elevator making it easy to move between each level. The elegant design expertly blends exceptional materials with a soothing and calm ambiance. On the top floor this is perfectly exhibited in the grand living areas flooded with natural light through the abundance of floor to ceiling windows.

The living room is dominated by the striking glass wall that frames the view across to the mountains of Mont Jovet, Dent du Villard and the Sommet de Bellecôte. A central fireplace offers warmth in all directions whether reclining on the large sofas or chaise longue. The bar offers the perfect spot for pre-dinner aperitifs before stepping through to the grand dining room for evening dinner parties.

The chalet can accommodate up to 14 guests in seven en-suite bedrooms all decorated in a relaxed and restrained colour palette. On the first floor are three double bedrooms as well as one room which can be set up with either a double or twin beds.

On the second floor is the master suite with seating area and en-suite with bath and walk-in shower. A further double bedroom and a twin/double bedroom complete the second floor.

On the lowest floor of the chalet are the dedicated wellness and leisure facilities that would rival those of a 5-star hotel. The spa features an indoor swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room, relaxation area and bar, plus a massage room and gym. For entertainment there is a cinema for cosy movie nights in with the children, or late-night fun with friends in the games room.

Numerous terraces and balconies let you take in the views with your morning coffee, or perhaps for some al fresco dining on warm and sunny days. For those looking to drive to Courchevel, there is a garage, and the chalet also features a laundry room as well as dedicated ski room with heated boot warmers.

The chalet is just a 75m walk to the edge of the Petit Dou ski slope from where it is an easy 300m ski down to the main snow front and ski school meeting points. From here you have a choice of 3 gondolas up the mountain, depending on which sector of the Courchevel ski slopes you wish to ski that day. Alternatively, you can keep your ski’s on and continue down to the Plantrey chairlift, and head further up the mountain from there.

The centre of Courchevel 1850 is 650m away and is easily accessed using the chalet’s in-resort chauffeur service. There is a wide array of designer fashion boutiques, art galleries, and jewellery shops for those not looking to hit the slopes. For any non-skiers in your family, there are many mountain restaurants to be accessed as a pedestrian via the lift network or using the driver service.

Chalet Black Lodge is available to rent on a fully staffed basis, with the cost of food and drink costs additional and payable at the end of your stay.
