Apartment Arcelin 2 is a self-catered apartment located in Courchevel Moriond (1650) and part of the Domaine des Glaciers private hamlet at the entrance to the resort. This stylish property features stunning panoramic views across the resort and ski slopes. The resort centre is just a 220 metre walk away, so it is easy to enjoy all this compact and sunny ski resort has to offer.
The apartment is spread over one level and offers 129m2 of floor area. The open plan living, dining and kitchen is bright thanks to the glazed French doors which open onto the wide balcony. This convivial space with large sofas, gas fireplace and modern kitchen will be a real pleasure after a day on the slopes. The décor is fresh and modern, and the views can be enjoyed both day and night.
Sleeping up to 8 guests there are four en-suite bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms have fixed double beds, and the other two offer twin beds, so the rooming is ideal for two families as well as a small group of friends. Again, the styling is contemporary and the bathrooms well appointed.
There is a ski locker to keep all your mountain equipment safe, as well as laundry facilities with a washing machine and tumble dryer. There is also a car parking space available for any guests driving to Courchevel 1650.
To access the ski slopes it is a 420m walk to the main snow front and the Ariondaz gonolda. The Ariondaz gonolda brings you up to an altitude of 2,052m and from where you can choose to ski the quieter local slopes, or head over towards the pistes of Courchevel 1850. Courchevel 1650 has an excellent network of green, blue and red slopes all with stunning views away from the crowds.
On the main snow front are the ski school meeting points as well as the Club Piou Piou for 3 to 5-year-olds where they can start their own adventures on snow. Courchevel Moriond is one of the best ski resorts in the Alps for learning to ski with excellent tuition and slopes to progress on. There are also ski lockers available to rent for the week next to the ESF office so you can leave your boots and skis close to the departure of the slopes and not have to carry your equipment every day.
Courchevel Moriond as it is now known, or Courchevel 1650 as it used to be called, has a wide array of bars and restaurants, with something for everyone’s taste and budget. There is a very well-stocked supermarket and excellent bakery too. The Aquamotion aquatic, wellness and sports centre is also easily accessed by foot or using the resort ski bus.
