Chalet des Cristaux is a wonderful luxury chalet in Les Houches in the Chamonix valley. Situated within walking distance of the Les Houches ski area and the Prarion gondola, the chalet is perfect for both winter and summer holidays in the mountains. Offering 350m2 of luxurious living space, the chalet is arranged over four floors and can sleep up to 10 guests in four en-suite bedrooms.
The large open plan living rooms and kitchen are spread across the first floor and benefit from a 5 metres high vaulted ceiling and dramatic central fireplace. Large windows let the natural light flood in, whilst the dining area, overlooked by the open kitchen, features a large table made of oak and stone. Next to the living room is a dedicated media / TV room where you will be able to recline and watch a movie on the large TV screen, enjoy an arcade game or game of table football.
On the top floor is the master suite with a king size bed, large dressing room, superb bathroom and offers views of the Fiz mountain range. Downstairs on the ground floor are a further two en-suite double bedrooms as well as a quad bunk room sleeping 4. Each room is equipped with its own TV, allowing you to relax and not miss out on your favourite series from the comfort of your bed.
Perhaps the crowning glory of the chalet are the private spa facilities which are at first not all they seem! Entering a large ground floor room overlooking the garden, it at first seems as though you are just in a relaxing lounge area with bar, until you discover the fully glazed space equipped with sounds and lights giving way to a dance floor for your party evenings. Then, at the press of a button, the dance floor starts to disappear to make way to an adjustable depth swimming pool (up to 1.80m in depth!) featuring a counter current swim system.
Heading outside and you can step into the Nordic hot tub as well as having access to an independent “mazot” (small chalet) in which you will discover a sauna with state-of-the-art equipment. The chalet is surrounded by breathtaking views of Mont Blanc and Fiz mountain ranges, which can be enjoyed from the terraces and garden.
