Chalet Sakami is a catered ski chalet that was completed for the 2019/20 winter ski season. Located in Avoriaz, the highest and most snow-sure ski resorts of the Portes du Soleil ski area with endless skiing for all abilities. It is one of three new properties along with Chalet Ipaka and Chalet Kipnuk, and along with an excellent location there are fantastic views over the centre of resort from all rooms.
The chalet is arranged over three floors and is a great space for only 6 guests. The huge windows and balconies let you enjoy the wonderful mountain panoramas from every room.
The property is actually built into the side of the mountain and the open plan living and dining area is a relaxing space to unwind after a day’s adventure in the mountains.
Sakami sleeps up to 6 people and each of the three en-suite bedrooms can be arranged with either a double or twin bed and enjoy beautiful views. As with all our luxury chalets in Avoriaz, the location is excellent and at an altitude of 1,840m is one of the best destinations for early and late season snow cover.
The downtown central amphitheatre, bars, restaurants, ski school, ice rink, beginner’s area are all located just below the chalet. The resort centre is also a short walk away and you are only 50m away from the nearest ski piste.
New for the 2023/24 winter season, there will be an outdoor hot tub to unwind in after a day’s skiing the Portes du Soleil slopes. For larger groups, Chalet Sakami can be rented together with Chalet Ipaka, and Chalet Kipnuk, to accommodate groups of up to 20 people.
