Chalet Kobuk sits close to the centre of Avoriaz, a vertical lift ride away from the noise and bustle of the very centre, but perfectly placed on the piste side circumference for breathtaking mountain panoramas and metres from the ski school meeting point, bars and restaurants.
The chalet offers the perfect space for 8-10 guests, spread over three floors with a cosy mezzanine above. The huge windows and balconies allow you to take in the mind blowing views from every floor. Built into the side of the mountain, the open plan living / dining area provides the ultimate place to relax after a day on the slopes.
The four en-suite bedrooms occupy the lower floors, and one has additional bunk beds (charged at half the adult price).
The position is sensational, 1850m altitude, on the piste, chairlifts all around you, a lift ride from the centre of the resort, piste side bars and restaurants and ski school meeting point.
In the morning you can put your skis on right outside the chalet door and ski away in the mornings, the piste is less than 100m from the chalet, so just a short walk at the end of the day to return for afternoon tea.
New for the 2023/24 winter season, there will be both a sauna and steam room in which to unwind after a day’s skiing the Portes du Soleil slopes.
For larger groups, this new building will not only occupy Chalet Kobuk, but also Chalet Kakisa, which also accommodates 8-10 guests.
