Chalet Snowridge 7 is a stunning log-built chalet with ski in ski out location on the Creekside ski slope. The original base of Whistler Mountain, Creekside is a five-minute walk away and has an array of ski rental shops, restaurants, shops, grocery and liquor stores. Ski out and one minute down to the Creekside gondola and at the end of the day ski in from the Olympic Dave Murray downhill or Lower Franz’s blue slope.
This seven-bedroom ski chalet sleeps 14 guests. Renovation works completed in 2018 included new lighting, window coverings, decorative finishes and artwork. Returning after a day’s skiing and there is plenty of space for your groups equipment to be stored and dry for the next day’s adventures.
There is a mix of bedrooms and common space on all floors which is great for allowing large groups to spread out in comfort. There is one bedroom with a king-size double bed on the entry level with an en-suite bathroom.
The main floor is home to the impressive open plan living room, kitchen and dining spaces. The vaulted timber ceiling with huge picture windows, stunning chandelier and stone chimney are all wonderful features. There is ample seating for formal dining along with additional seating at the kitchen breakfast bar. In warming months enjoy a BBQ on the front patio all against the backdrop of Whistler mountain and the Tantalus mountain range.
Off the spacious and fully equipped kitchen there is a new spa area to enjoy complete with infrared sauna, yoga or massage space, and access to the outdoor hot tub. This floor is finished with a master king-size double bedroom with en-suite bathroom.
Heading upstairs and there is a TV room / den which is a great additional space, especially for families with young children. The second floor has three bedrooms with one twin room with en-suite bathroom, a king-size double and a bunk room.
A spacious games room has a billiard/pool table, and here there are also two smaller bedrooms that share a bathroom. One room has a queen bed, the other a double bed.
The chalet also has a back patio that is set back into the rock face. This tranquil and private setting includes an indoor/outdoor gas fireplace, hammock and a small outdoor firepit with additional seating.
There is a garage with space for one small vehicle or storage along with a board waxing station. For groups or a couple of families that have driven from Vancouver, there is also space for 3 additional vehicles on the heated driveway, which is helpful on snowy days. On the top floor of the property is a separate studio suite that the caretaker occupies on occasional visits. It has a separate entrance and will not infringe on your privacy.
For smaller groups, the chalet can be rented with only 5 bedrooms as Chalet Snowridge 5.
