Falcon Lodge Chalet J is the most spacious property located in the Falcon Lodge Residence in Meribel. Chalet J is built on five levels, offers 479m2 of floor area, and sleeps 14+1 guests in seven bedrooms. This is a great property for those looking for a stylish ski chalet with spacious living areas, extensive private spa facilities and beautiful views across the Meribel valley.
At the heart of the chalet and on the middle floor is the impressive living spaces with high ceilings and an open plan layout. Large picture windows frame the views of Meribel and flood the space with lots of natural light. Two seating areas, one with a fireplace and the other with a TV, offer a choice depending on how you prefer to relax.
The dining table seats 12 and overlooks the lounge area. The open kitchen is fully equipped and features a huge island unit with breakfast bar providing additional dining space for four. Outside a wide balcony invites you to enjoy the fresh mountain air, perhaps with your morning coffee for the ultimate daily wake up routine.
The bedrooms are spread between three floors. Down one level from the living area and here there are four en-suite bedrooms, three with balcony access. A fifth room on this level has a double bed with single bunk bed above, which works well as a children’s or family room. There are separate bathroom facilities in the chalet for this bedroom.
Heading up from the living area, and there is a further double en-suite bedroom with private terrace access. This bedroom is tucked away and offers excellent privacy. Also on this floor is a TV snug area as well as a large family bathroom. Up on the top floor is the final bedroom which has a double bed, and which can use the bathroom on the floor below.
Down on the lowest floor, this space is entirely dedicated to your relaxation with a well-equipped wellness area. With an indoor swimming pool, outdoor hot tub, and a sauna, the choice is yours as to which order you enjoy your spa journey. A bar area, shower and guest toilet complete the space.
An elevator and stairs provide easy access between the main four floors of the chalet, with stairs providing access to the top floor where one double bedroom is located. The chalet also has a laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer. 1 covered car parking space is also available for any guests driving to resort.
Guests staying in the chalet also have access to the shared residence spa and wellness area equipped with a swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room, and treatment rooms (spa treatment additional cost). There is also a private ski rental shop located in the residence, so it is nice and easy to be fitted out with all your ski gear on your arrival.
The Morel chairlift and bottom of blue Hulotte piste is a 300m walk away. Taking the Morel chairlift into the ski area means you do not need to head down to the main Chuadanne lift hub in the resort centre. Should you require ski school, then the meeting points for all the ski schools are located at the Chaudanne, where you also have a choice of ski lifts depending on where you want to ski in the 3 Valleys each day.
It is an easy 10-minute downhill walk into the centre of Meribel. The traditional resort of Meribel sits at the centre of the 3 Valleys ski area, the largest linked ski area in the world, and offers extensive skiing for all levels. The resort also has a wide selection of restaurants to enjoy in the evenings, as well as a lively après ski scene.
Falcon Lodge Chalet J can be rented on either a self-catered “Tradition Pack” basis, or on a bed & breakfast “Premium Pack” basis. The bed & breakfast option includes daily continental breakfast delivered to your property and daily cleaning.
A shuttle service in Meribel Centre from Sunday to Friday from 08:30 to 18:00 is included on both service levels. This is a great service for accessing the main lift hub of La Chaudanne in Méribel Centre where the ski school meeting points are also located.
