Apartment Aurora is a self-catered out apartment in Val d’Isere and a great choice for keen skiers looking to maximise their time on the ski slopes. Part of the Joseray Collection, a residence of four self-catered apartments, the setting is also only a 10-minute walk from the centre of Val d’Isere. The property offers a spacious and well-appointed interior along with private spa facilities.
The apartment is spread across four floors and offers 190m2 of floor area. The property is stylish and comfortable, and the four tastefully decorated bedrooms accommodate up to 8 guests. Upon entering the property there is ski storage for all your mountain equipment, but the main joy on this floor can be found in your private spa area with sauna, hammam, and relaxation area.
Taking the stairs to the next level and this is where three of the four bedrooms are arranged. All three of these rooms can be set up with either a double or twin beds. Two have full en-suite facilities, while the third bedroom offers a private washroom with shower and access to a separate toilet in the hallway. Each room is meticulously designed with a blend of wood and muted colours and fabrics.
The third floor is split into two halves, and you first arrive at the open-plan dining and kitchen space, where you can savour your home cooked culinary delights together. This area firstly flows through to a cosy TV snug and then into a generous living space with a fireplace. Large balconies at both ends of this floor invite you to admire the mountain views though we think this is best achieved from the outdoor hot tub.
Ascending to the final floor and the stunning master suite awaits and offers the pinnacle of luxury and comfort. This spacious sanctuary sits beneath a stunning wood roof and features private balconies front and back, letting you awake to panoramic views of the snowy mountain peaks. Again, this room can be setup as you prefer, with either a double or twin beds.
When it comes to accessing the ski slopes, you could not be in a better setting. In the mornings it is just a short walk followed by a quick ski down to the main snow front and the Olympique gondola on the Bellevarde mountain and the Solaise gondola. The ski school meeting points are arranged around the main snow front.
On your return to the apartment, you can ski down the red Joseray piste on the Bellevarde side of the ski area, before cutting off near the bottom of the run and this will also bring you within a few minutes walk of the property.
The apartment is located in the hamlet of Joseray just outside of the centre of Val d’Isère. The centre of this high-altitude ski resort is only a 10-minute walk away and is also served on the yellow ski bus route which operates all day and late into the evening. Val d’Isere is well known for its lively après ski scene, but it also has an amazing number of varied restaurants if you prefer not to home cook in the evening.
For larger groups, the apartment can be rented in conjunction with Apartment Flora, Apartment Ceres and Apartment Luna which together create the Joseray Collection offering accommodation for up to 30 guests.
