Chalet Saphir is an elegant traditional chalet and offers stunning views of Mont Blanc and the Chamonix valley. For those looking for a convenient location, it is an easy walk to the centre of Chamonix town. It is also only a short walk from the bottom of the Le Savoy ski slopes, where there is also a beginner ski area, as well as the bottom of the lift system which connects you into the Brevent-Flegere ski area.
The chalet is the perfect base for a mountain holiday in this famous Alpine resort, with a network of ski buses and trains departing from the resort centre connecting you to the other ski areas in the Chamonix valley. The property’s elevated setting, and large terraces and balconies, is perfect for those who desire stunning mountain views from their chalet.
The chalet is arranged over four floors and 272m2 of living space. Outside, the stone and wood façade, and shingle clad roof, create the perfect image of a mountain retreat. Inside, there are plenty more traditional materials, along with large picture windows, contemporary furniture, and colourful decorative flourishes.
Sleeping up to 12 people, there are four en-suite double bedrooms as well as a quad bunk room with en-suite shower room. The bright open plan living room features a large fireplace and comfy seating, whilst the fully equipped kitchen overlooks the dining table. After a day’s skiing why not ease tired muscles in the sauna, or head to the outdoor Storvatt Nordic bath (hot tub) and unwind with the view and a glass of champagne.
For those driving to resort there are 2 parking spaces available in the garage, and it is very useful to have a car to explore the full extent of the skiing on offer in the valley. For larger groups, Chalet Saphir can be rented in conjunction with neighbouring Chalet Alaska and Chalet Azurite, to create Le Hameau des Plans, which can accommodate up to 43 people in the same private location.
