Alpine Retreat is a self-catered chalet in Morzine located on the sunny side of the valley. Constructed in 2017, the chalet is set on a large plot surrounded by forest in a quiet area called L’Ele. The chalet is tucked away from the hustle of the resort centre and the elevated setting delivers fantastic panoramic views over the mountains and chalets in the valley.
Arranged over three floors the chalet can accommodate 10 guests in five en-suite bedrooms. The middle floor is given over to the open plan living spaces and is the heart of the chalet. With polished concrete floors, impressive floor to ceiling windows and contemporary furniture, the interior offers the best of modern alpine living. The large terrace with outdoor furniture is the perfect spot to enjoy the view.
The modern and fully equipped kitchen features a central island and the large dining table enjoys a mountain backdrop. A glass fronted fireplace creates a cosy ambiance, and the large TV and Sonos sound system provide plenty of entertainment. A tucked away workspace, guest toilet and laundry room are all helpful facilities. An outdoor hot tub and fire pit were added for the 2020/21 winter ski season.
On the ground floor is the first twin/double bedroom which also works well for a young family as there are two additional pull out beds that can be used. On the top floor are the other four double bedrooms, three of which can also be arranged with twin beds. The chalet also features a large ski room with boot warmers and outside there is parking for 2 or 3 cars.
The centre of Morzine is a 15 minute walk away and to the village of Montriond is only 10 minutes. The ski bus stops 5 minutes walk from the chalet and can be used to access the resort centre and the ski lifts. If self-driving to the resort, there is easy access by car to the Super-Morzine, Pleney, Prodains or Ardent ski lifts.
Alpine Retreat is available to rent on a self-catered basis. It is also possible to add in additional services including a catered package and daily slope transfers – please enquire for further details.
