Chalet Himalaya is a stunning ski in ski out chalet in Meribel. Arranged over four floors and a spacious 720m2, there are seven en-suite bedrooms which can accommodate 12-15 guests. Located on the popular and exclusive “Routes des Chalets”, you are only a 300m walk to nearest restaurants, bar, small supermarket, ski rental shops and resort bus stop located at Meribel 1600 (Morel).
The spectacular living spaces will take your breath away and all benefit from large picture windows overlooking the snow-covered mountains. The grand dining room with adjoining kitchen sits between two living rooms. At one side, the grand sitting room enjoys double height ceilings, a central fireplace and plentiful seating options. On the other side is the cosy TV room with library and wine cellar.
The four master suites, two double bedrooms and a children’s dormitory room are spread between the floors. Outside there are large terraces and balconies where al fresco dining can be enjoyed in the warmer spring months.
The extensive spa, wellness and entertainment facilities start with the 7m x 3m indoor swimming pool with bay windows overlooking the garden and pool side loungers for lazy afternoons relaxing. After skiing why not head to the warmth and steam of the hammam. The outdoor Nordic hot tub is sunken into the terrace and enjoys wonderful views over the ski slopes. If you have any time left, why not enjoy a movie in the cinema room, or burn any remaining energy in the fitness room.
The chalet has a ski in ski out location and you can leave the chalet from the garden and pass in front of the neighbouring chalets to join the Doron piste. From here you can ski directly down to the main lift hub and ski school meeting points at the Chaudanne in Meribel Centre. At the end of your ski day, you can return to the chalet via the garden, or a 50m path which will bring you to the front of the chalet.
Chalet Himalaya is available to rent on a fully staffed basis with a chef, butler and housekeeper. The chef will tailor the menus to your group’s personal preferences and will prepare daily breakfasts, afternoon tea and dinner in the comfort of your chalet. The cost of the food and drinks for breakfast are included, but are additional for the other meals and payable at the end of your stay.
