Le Chalet des Amis, fully renovated in the summer of 2022, is a grand and luxurious chalet for large group holidays in Meribel. The chalet has been designed as the perfect destination to spend quality time with friends and family after enjoying a day’s skiing in the 3 Valleys. Combining authentic alpine charm together with modern comforts, the chalet has been designed to offer the utmost in comfort and enjoyment.
Arranged over three floors and 400m2 of living space the chalet can accommodate up to 12 adults and 3 children. The entrance to the chalet is on the middle floor where you can arrive into either the dedicated ski room, or main lobby. This is the main sleeping floor with four en-suite bedrooms, including a family suite sleeping up to 5, along with a dedicated cinema room for cosy movie nights in.
Heading downstairs and you will discover an entire floor dedicated to wellbeing, relaxation, and fun. The private spa facilities include a secure and heated swimming pool, sauna, gym, massage room as well as space to relax poolside. The spa directly opens onto the private garden bordered by a stream, and has a terrace with Nordic hot tub, and a large wooden table and bench. To the other side of this floor is the games room with pinball, table football, television, games console, karaoke, board games, and darts.
On the top floor you are sure to be instantly impressed by the main living space of the chalet with its 4.50m high ceilings, south and west exposure and panoramic balcony overlooking the mountains. This open plan room is arranged with communal living in mind with an open kitchen, grand dining table and a comfortable and warm living room with fireplace.
The final two bedrooms are also arranged across the top floor and feature en-suite shower rooms. All six of the chalets’ bedrooms can be arranged with either double or twin beds giving the maximum flexibility for different groups or several families looking to holiday together.
The chalet offers a ski in/ski out service for customers who have reserved their ski equipment at the Eskale ski shop in the resort centre. Every morning, a private shuttle will take skiers from the chalet to the ski room. Once there, all you have to do is put on your ski boots and take the private lift, located on the ski slope. In the afternoon, a shuttle will be organised on request for the return to the chalet.
If clients have not rented their ski’s at the Eskale ski shop, the private shuttle service will take guests directly from the chalet to and from the Chaudanne snow front and lift hub in the morning and afternoon.
The centre of Meribel with its selection of bars, shops and restaurants is just a 7-minute walk away. Within 200m there is also a very well stocked supermarket as well as a local cheese shop. There is also a ski bus stop just 50m from the chalet which takes you directly to the main Chaudanne lift hub and where all the ski schools meet. For those driving to resort there are uncovered parking spaces available outside the chalet.
The chalet is available on a self-catered basis including housekeeping. The housekeeper is also available to assist with putting out your continental breakfast, preparing coffee and hot water, and clearing up afterwards (please note food or drink shopping is not included in your stay). A delivery of pastries and bread to the chalet every morning is included.
