Chalet Vieux Moulin is a self-catered apartment in Zermatt. Sleeping six guests in three bedrooms and arranged over 95m2 of living space, this bright apartment has its own charming lawn and south facing deck with Matterhorn views. Located at the end of a quiet dead-end street and next to the church and a mountain river, you are in the heart of Zermatt.
The apartment is freshly renovated and features high quality Scandinavian style furniture and a Sonos sound system. The kitchen has a marble work surface and is spacious and open plan, with everything you might need – dishwasher, oven, hob, fridge-freezer, Nespresso machine.
There are two double bedrooms, one of which has twin mattresses, whilst the third bedroom has twin beds which can be pushed together. There is one shared bathroom, with a bathtub and separate shower and toilet.
The living room and two of the bedrooms have French windows leading to the garden. The garden has a grass lawn with flower borders in the summer and, snow conditions permitting, is covered in snow in the winter. It is a great additional for the children whatever the season. In the centre of the garden is the old grinding stone from the original water mill.
The heart of old Zermatt is just around the corner along with numerous shops, amenities and restaurants. The electric ski bus stop is also close by. The Old Mill House sits in an oasis of calm, where the main things you will hear are bird song and the church bells.
Vieux Moulin sleeps 6 although it is also ideal for smaller groups. It can also be combined with one of our other luxury chalets near the centre of the village, such as Chalet Heidi, the Heinz Julen Loft, or the Heinz Julen Penthouse to accommodate larger groups.
