Chalet Tuftra is located in Zermatt’s only ski-in ski-out district, Winkelmatten, it is right on the edge of the forest and you often see the deer feeding from the balcony . This area is known as the “Beverly Hills” of Zermatt and has some fantastic restaurants and bars, children’s play areas and shops.
From the chalet you can ski through the meadow and down to the Klein Matterhorn Express and you can ski back to the door of the chalet down the Moosweg ski-run.
Chalet Tuftra 6 (Sleeps 6) and Chalet Tuftra 4 (Sleeps 4) are two luxury adjacent apartments, which occupy the top floor and they can be booked separately or together. Booked together they accommodate up to 10-12 guests in 5 en-suite bedrooms and become ‘Chalet Tuftra 10’.
The spacious open plan lounges and dining areas have open fires and modern fully fitted and equipped kitchens.
Decked out with mountain spruce, oak wood floors & Swarovski chandeliers, both apartments exude comfort and cosiness. The decor has been finished in a beautiful alpine style. From the balconies you can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view.
All 5 bedrooms are en suite and equipped with bath or shower, three bathrooms also have a steam shower. Each bedroom has flat screen TV with satellite and each living room has a large flat screen. The entire apartment is equipped with WiFi and has its own private laundry with clothes dryers.
