Guerneres Resort
The Guernerés Resort is nestled in the heights of the ski resort of Grimentz in the Swiss Alps. Overlooking the village the Guernerés Resort boasts a series of spacious and fully equipped chalets and apartments. Located right next to the Forêt ski slope, it offers a private setting and exclusive amenities for a luxurious and relaxing winter holiday.
The resort is split into two accommodation areas, one is an 11-storey “Residence” section with lift and 37 apartments, and the second is the “Chalet” section with 16 chalets, divided into 29 chalets and chalet-apartments. The properties all feature a modern kitchen, spacious living areas, and cosy bedrooms. There are a wide variety of layouts sleeping between 3 and 14 guests, meaning there is an option for all different group and family sizes.
At the heart of the resort are extensive facilities allowing you to have all you need to relax and unwind on site. The Guernerés lounge bar, located on the second floor, invites you to enjoy a hot chocolate after a day exploring the slopes. The Nava restaurant, on the first floor, is the place to head for a unique bistro experience, whether in the warm indoor setting or on the sun-kissed terrace.
Before dinner you will surely want to refresh and there is nowhere better to head than the on-site 700m2 spa on the second floor. The wellness area includes a heated indoor-outdoor swimming pool as well as a sauna, steam room with sensory showers, a sun deck and a relaxation corner, along with a tearoom and a gym. Spa treatments are also available with an additional charge.
Children are in for a magical holiday in the mountains too as the Guernerés Resort has lots to entertain them. To make your stay even more relaxing, the Kids Club welcomes children aged 3 to 10 to enjoy a wide range of fun activities (subject to additional charge and availability). On the resort’s first floor, the Games Paradise is the perfect spot for adults and children to come together.
Of course, most visitors will be visiting Grimentz to explore the ski area and the onsite Annaski ski rental shop makes it super easy to rent your ski and snowboarding equipment without even having to leave the resort. In the mornings slip into a warm pair of boots, and your equipment will be ready for you to simply hop onto the slope that runs parallel to the residence. Voila, you are off to explore the Grimentz-Zinal ski area.
The residence is located alongside the red Forêt ski slope from where it is a 300m ski down to the Grimentz-Bendolla gondola. For those requiring ski school, the meeting points for group lessons for children is at the top of the gondola, or for private lessons, you can meet at the bottom of the gondola. At the end of your ski day, you can ski directly back to the residence.
Guests driving to resort will have one underground car parking space included with each booking. On request, additional car parking spaces are available with an additional charge. From the chalets (chalets & chalet-apartments) it is an external walk to the main residence building where the resort amenities are all located.
The Guernerés Resort chalets, chalet-apartments, and apartments, are available to rent on a self-catered basis and include access to the 700m2 spa. Use of the on-site restaurants, kids club, spa treatments, and ski rental are all available with an additional charge. The residence also offers access to a resort shuttle service with an additional charge to make it nice and easy to access the village centre.
Please Note: The construction of the resort will be completed by December 2025, and the resort will be ready for the 2025-2026 winter season.
