The open plan living and dining room offer plenty of space for your group to unwind together after a day’s skiing. The semi-open kitchen overlooks the living room, and there is also a separate dedicated wine cellar. Also on this floor is the ski room, laundry room as well as a separate bathroom. There is a second charming living area on the top floor with armchairs and a wood burner, and this space opens onto a roof terrace with an 8-person outdoor hot tub and mountain views.

The chalet can accommodate up to a maximum of 12 adults and 6 children. On the first floor there are three double bedrooms, two with en-suite facilities. The third double bedroom shares a bathroom with the media room that also features a double sofa bed.

On the top floor there are a further two double bedrooms, one with en-suite facilities. The second double bedroom shares a bathroom with a children’s dorm room with 6 single beds. The bedrooms all have custom made Egyptian cotton bed sheets and bathrooms have underfloor heating, top of the range fittings and salon standard hair dryers.

The chalet is situated in the heart of the old hamlet of Pattemouche at an altitude of 1,600m. The village has some excellent restaurants within walking distance from the chalet. Sestriere, with a larger array of shops, bars and restaurants, is an 8-minute drive away and two trips to/from Sestriere are included with a private driver between 8am and 7pm each day.

The cable car is just 100m from the chalet and will whisk you onto the ski slopes above Sestriere, after which you can access the 400km of slopes in the Milky Way ski area. The Olympic cross-country skiing course is also just a 2-minute walk away.

Chalet Baita 1697 is available on a catered and self-catered basis. The price is based on up to 10 guests on a catered basis, with additional guests carrying a supplementary charge.
